A STORY BEHIND THE PAINTING:

This oil painting has been inspired by my visits of a remarkable place in Fenville, Michigan, where Joanne and John have been planting a large field of poppies, bachelor buttons and daisies to commemorate and honor their son. Oil is my preferred medium for such scenes due to their ability to capture the intense color and texture of poppy flowers. However, I hope I was bale to translate what I felt while quietly enjoying my walks along the field .
